The two-day stopover in Lusaka is exactly what we needed at this stage of our journey! Not only did we fill up our water tank, visit the pharmacy, and stock up on groceries, but we also slept a lot! I got in a full 12 hours last night and another 2 this afternoon! JI watched his team, Arsenal, beat Everton so he only got to bed close to midnight. It feels very strange to watch TV again, especially from such comfortable sofas!

We'd like to thank Marlize, Christo and the children again for hosting us. It has been great to recuperate in your home. We now have clean clothes, full stomachs and very well rested bodies!
Tomorrow we aim for North Luangwa, one of Zambia's wildest parks. We're not even sure whether we'll get in, but the hope is to visit a friend, Claire Lewis, there. We won't reach the park in one day so we'll probably sleep close to the entrance.

Sjoe maar julle lyk sommer of julle by die huis is; JI voor die TV op die bank, julle om die eetkamer-tafel en in die mall met 'n trollie vol inkopies! Bly om te sien daar is darem beskaafde plekke ook in Afrika! Sit bietjie foto's ook op van die omgewing hoe dit daar lyk ens. Onthou julle ons kyk deur julle "oë" en wil niks mis nie! Geniet julle laaste aand in die 'beskawing'. Lekker slaap...
